It's that time of the year again, were the Women's Centre for Health and Wellbeing Albury Wodonga are CALLING FOR DONATIONS of Toiletries and some brand new clothing for the Borders most vulnerable families.Emergency toiletries are urgently needed for The Women’s Centre for Health and Wellbeing, Albury, who support Women and their families in emergency situations. The Women’s Centre has their annual Toiletries donation drive on, calling for donations of toiletries, soap, large shampoo, conditioner and body wash, large toothpaste, deodorant, nappies and baby wipes. “We ask for the normal size toiletry items rather than hotel ones or smaller sizes as these items need to see the family through the first month of living in emergency accommodation.” said Marge from the Women's Centre, “We try to set up those clients in need up with everything they need till the family is in a better place."Please contact the Women’s Centre on (02) 6021 5773 for more information. Donations can be taken to reception at 526 Swift Street Albury NSW. We look forward to meeting more of the community*** We thank the members of the community that have recently offered hotel toiletries. We appreciate your generous thoughts but are unable to accept them at this time. #donationsneeded #donationdrive #toiletries #emergency #crisis #domesticviolence #familyviolence #sexualassault #clothing #toiletries #albury #wodonga #womensupportingwomen #womenscentrealburywodonga

While this can be a tough topic to talk about, if you have experienced strangulation or if you are someone who participates in sexual choking, you will find some important information on here by clicking on the ‘Women’ tab: www.itleftnomarks.com.au/ #womenshealthnsw #womenscentrealburywodongaWomen's Health NSW is proud to launch the It Left No Marks online learning hub. This was created as part of a project called “Local pathways for victim survivors of sexual assault related non-fatal strangulation and acquired brain injury” (the Pathways Project). The Pathways Project was established when Women’s Health NSW identified a need to support and strengthen professional understanding and local capacity to respond to sexual assault-related non-fatal strangulation and acquired brain injury. The Pathways Project is one of 14 projects in the NSW Sexual Violence Project Fund administered by the NSW Department of Communities and Justice. This learning hub will be useful to women who have experienced non-fatal strangulation or sexual choking, as well as service providers, including healthcare service providers, who support women. www.itleftnomarks.com.au/
