Yesterday Women's Health NSW has launched The It Left No Marks online learning hub. This is a place where you can learn more about strangulation, sometimes called choking. While this can be a tough topic to talk about, if you have experienced strangulation or if you are someone who participates in sexual choking, you will find some important information on here by clicking on the ‘Women’ tab: www.itleftnomarks.com.au/ #womenshealthnsw #womenscentrealburywodongaWomen's Health NSW is proud to launch the It Left No Marks online learning hub. This was created as part of a project called “Local pathways for victim survivors of sexual assault related non-fatal strangulation and acquired brain injury” (the Pathways Project). The Pathways Project was established when Women’s Health NSW identified a need to support and strengthen professional understanding and local capacity to respond to sexual assault-related non-fatal strangulation and acquired brain injury. The Pathways Project is one of 14 projects in the NSW Sexual Violence Project Fund administered by the NSW Department of Communities and Justice. This learning hub will be useful to women who have experienced non-fatal strangulation or sexual choking, as well as service providers, including healthcare service providers, who support women. www.itleftnomarks.com.au/ ...
